The topic of ghosts has intrigued me since I was a young boy, though I was terrified of the dark, so much so that I had to have the bedroom lights on, the door open, and the landing lights ablaze, all in the hope of pushing back the shadows. Things have changed a lot since then, I am no longer afraid of the dark, and have a healthy interest in ghosts.

 

I have gained a great deal of experience over this last three years, having completed 87 overnight investigations as well as paranormal investigations with a small group. I feel however that it is necessary once more to present some facts about ghosts. I have an extremely well developed clairvoyant ability, in that I am able to see ghosts as well as spirit as clearly as I can see everything else. My clairvoyant ability utilises what is termed objective clairvoyance, this means that what I am seeing, ghost or spirit is not merely within my minds eye, more so as they would be walking amongst us. Both ghosts and spirits can be perceived in the same manner, through sight, and hearing, though the feelings and emotions which can be ascertained are quite different.

 

Ghosts

Ghosts are residual energy which has been permeated into the surround fabric, brick walls, carpets, curtains, or even furniture. The reason for this is the factor of the auric field as the energy is constantly in a state of flux, both in towards and away from the physical body. These energies over a period of time seep into the surrounding fabrics leaving a likeness of the person as they would have appeared whilst they themselves where in a physical body. The key point here however is that the energy is representative of a given point in time, and gives rise to reports of people walking through walls or hovering over the ground. If you think about it logically, what you are perceiving is how things would have been when the energy was permeated into the surrounding fabrics. As an example, you are reading a present day report of a person's experience as they witnessed a lady from the Tudor age quite literally walk through a wall, the questions you should be asking are - "was there a wall there during the Tudor period" if so it probably had a doorway there. The same can be said of a ghost seemingly hovering over the ground, quite simply the ground level was of a higher level than we are seeing today.

 

The feelings that can be perceived from a ghost are very real indeed, they can move you to tears or literally make you run.

 

The main point I wish to state is that a ghost is not sentient, it is not aware of its surroundings, and most definitely can not interact or communicate with us. Remember the energy left behind, hence the term residual is merely an echo, but because it was once a living thing, having an aura, the information contained within the aura has also been captured and can be perceived.

 

Ghost energies are very specific to an area within a location, you could walk around the room of a haunted mansion and only feel the presence of an energy in a small part of this room. In my experiences with working with the public on overnight investigations, when I have asked them to stand within a certain area and gauge their reactions. As a general rule of thumb, if you feel sensations down the left side of your body and nothing down the right, then move a little to the left and you will find the sensations pass over the entire body.

 

Spirit

Spirit energy is not permeated into the surrounding fabrics, for unlike a ghost which to all intents and purposes is dead energy, the energy of a spirit is very much alive and kicking. Granted I am a Spiritualist Medium and have had my proof that live continues to exist after our physical demise. Spirit as mentioned above can be perceived in the same way as the energy of a ghost, the main difference here however is that spirit can interact with us, they can communicate with us, as such they are very much aware of their own and our surroundings.

 

Spirit display themselves as they would have been before they passed from the physical body, their personality is the same as is their mode of dress. I must state that it is nothing like what was portrayed in the film "sixth sense" whereby they appear with grotesque wounds, there would be no point, other than to send me running out of the house.

 

I have obtained some very good evidence from spirit at the various locations I have visited which has subsequently been verified through the history books.

 

To date I have completed over 144 investigations at 37 different locations, some of which I have visited many times and have compiled a database of information on 2488 ghosts to date; with 62% being male, 38% female with 31% being seen on more than one occasion.

 

I have compiled information pertaining to spirit and thus have have 451 spirit of which 7% have been seen on more than one occasion.
