Galleries of Justice 31st
October 2009 |
There was a larger group of
people in attendance for this halloween event at
the Galleries of Justice. The walkabout
concentrated on the larger areas to accommodate
the large group. |

Foyer
The now familiar energy of a woman
standing to the area |
of the top
of the stairs (please refer to early reports for
a |
fuller
description of this woman) |
The residual
energy of a man who from his attire led me to |
place him
from around 1906-08. He was a small man, attired |
in a dark
coloured suit. His hair was light grey in
colour, |
rounded
facial features and brown eyes. He came across
as |
being quite
“bah humbug” in his personality. A member of |
the group
volunteered to stand here and reported feeling
a little odd
as if depressed and annoyed. |
Another
familiar energy was that of a police man attired
in |
a
policeman’s uniform. He was a very tall man,
large rounded |
facial
features and his uniform had white and black
flashes |
at the
cuffs. A volunteer stood in this energy felt
being very |
heavy
through his legs and all down his left hand
side. |
The last
visage was also residual in nature and included
one |
man being
led towards the main entrance doorway flanked by |
four other
men. He was in a simple garb whilst his guards
were |
attired in
blue uniforms of an older style. I was aware of
the |
fact that
people would have been hanged outside the main
doorway, and
felt his was a reply of such an event. |
Main court
We came into the court and settled around to see
what may |
occur. After
first outlined the various lights and such which |
are always
present in the area and can thus be ruled out as |
being
connected to anything paranormal. |
The first
energy was again the familiar residual energy of
an |
elderly
woman who I was seeing stood in the area of the
dock. |
(for a
fuller description of this woman, please refer
to earlier |
Reports) |
The next
energy was to the far right hand side of the
courtroom |
and was what
you may expect from a court room. He was |
attired in
the manner of a barrister and to me was taking
notes |
to the area
of the judge’s seat, hence I thought him to have
been |
a clerk of
the court. |
We were then
joined by the spirit energy of a smartly attired |
man by the
name of George, who I was seeing standing in the |
upper
balcony area, above the juror’s seats. He
mentioned the |
date of
August 17th 1911 as an important case
tried within the |
courtroom. I
encouraged the group to interact with him in
order |
that some
paranormal activity may take place. There was an |
audible
sound which came from the area in which George
was |
stood, and
heard by the entire group. As such we applauded |
George for
his efforts in the hope that he would once more |
try to
indicate his presence to us all. One of the
female |
members of
the group asked if anything could happen and |
were
possibly given a second noise, which could have
been |
attributed
to a member of the group, though no one could |
say if it
was indeed a group member. |
Lower corridor We
came to stand in the corridor along the area of
the |
burning
woman exhibit. There was the spirit energy of a |
young man
attired in a grey garb, who told me that he |
was a plain
clothes police man. He gave me his name |
as Albert
and was of the Edwardian period. He looked |
about 24
years of age, light brown hair, and was quite |
eager to
please, in respect to climbing the ladder of |
his career. |
A volunteer
came to stand in the area of the metal gate |
where I was
aware of the residual energy of a woman |
attired in a
black coloured dress of a heavy looking |
material.
Her hair was dark was quite dark in colour |
high cheek
bones, brown eyes and a stern countenance. |
One of the
female members of the group reported feeling |
very sick,
almost to the point of actually being so,
however |
upon being
moved from the area, this feeling quickly |
subsided. A
second woman had to sit down as she felt |
very dizzy,
and likened it to have been swung around |
this too
dissipated upon leaving the area. |
The very
audible sound of a gate squeaking was heard |
by all
present, John my fellow colleague went to |
investigate
along with three or four members of the group. |
It was that
loud that the sound was picked up on my |
dictaphone.
The restaurant nearby was ruled out as a |
possible
cause and upon our later tour to the area of the |
hanging
room, the black gate in this corridor was deemed |
to have been
the cause. |
Transportation We
came into the long corridor to see what if any
activity |
may be
present. A couple of the male members of the
group |
were
reporting feeling a little sick. |
There was
the spirit energy of a man who gave me his |
surname as
Anderson. By his attire I thought him to have |
been from
around the early 1730’s. As I was informing the |
group of
what I was seeing, one of the male members of
the |
group
reported having the back of his neck touched,
and that |
the name of
John came to his mind, hence we called the |
spirit
energy John Anderson. He was attired in the
manner of |
a sailor. He
mentioned people being whipped if they were |
not moving
quick enough or would beat people for the sake
of |
it. |
A number of
people in the area of this man were feeling a
little |
clammy and
seemingly on edge. |
A female
member of the group was physically touched on
her |
arm which
caused some distress to her, at this point we
decided |
to move
further into the building. |
Hanging room We
came into this area for the first of the vigils
throughout the |
evening. The
group had been divided into a smaller group in |
order to
allow for a more personal experience. There were
a |
couple of
energies in the room with us, and I encouraged
the |
group to
interact as best they could. One of the group, a
very |
tall woman
reported being touched on the top of her head |
whilst a
couple of men were touched on their shoulders. |
The light
level in the room, bearing in mind that the
walls |
are painted
in a shade of white, became so dark at one point |
that you
could not see the person stood opposite you,
this |
was despite
the light infiltrating through the two open |
doorways. |
We moved
into the corridor outside the night cell were
one |
of the group
volunteered to stand on their own. This person |
underwent an
unusual experience, as he reported “it was as |
if someone
was holding my wrist and moving my hand |
up and away
from my body”. The remainder of the group |
were
mesmerised by this occurrence as the man in
question |
seemed to
have no control of the movement of his right |
arm. |
In a second
vigil in this area, once again the light
conditions |
seemed to
darken quite rapidly. There was some interaction |
from the
spirit of a large built woman who was stood to
the |
area of the
cell nearby to the bed. She wore a dress of a
heavy |
looking
material and a red/purple coloured shawl across
her |
shoulders.
Her facial features were rounded, he grin was |
etched all
over her face, her smile though nice was filled
with |
missing
teeth. One of the female members of the group
tried to |
interact
with this woman though to no avail. I asked one
of the |
male members
of the group to try. There was interaction with |
this woman
(spirit) and the man. The woman informed me that |
the man had
a dental appointment coming up this week and
that |
he had
“chickened” out on a body piercing. He had
indeed a |
dental
appointment coming up, though he stated that he
had |
changed his
mind over his body piercing, namely his tongue
because he
thought it would cause damage to the back of his |
teeth. Upon
him finishing stating this, there was such a
loud |
bang as to
make people jump. This sounded very much like a |
large wooden
door being slammed shut. I took some volunteers |
with me in
order to discover where the noise came from. The |
doors to the
end of the corridor leading to the courtyard was
deemed to
far away. The large doors leading to the stairs
to the |
upper floors
did not make enough noise, and the adjoining
cell |
doors made
squeaking noises so as to rule them out also. |
The galleries was once more
an active location and the group were in the
most part open and interactive throughout the
event. I would thus like to say a big thank you
to all in attendance and to my fellow colleague
John. |
If anyone in attendance on
the night would like to share their own
experience, please email me and I will include
your comments into the report. |
