In the Press

(Lincolnshire Pride magazine)

This page has been added to reflect articles concerning myself which have appeared in the press, and represent the more recent articles only. I will endeavour to update these pages as and when press articles appear.

Lincolnshire woman Alison Noble enjoyed a consultation with each of our psychics. Alison is neither overtly open to nor overtly sceptical about any of the methods she has trialled, and made a concerted effort to "give nothing away" before her consultation. Our article won't go into the specific details of advice or knowledge gained from each of our psychics, but she has shared with us the areas of accuracy and inaccuracy following each visit. Rob was present during each consultation.

 Our Conclusion

Alison was impressed with each of our psychics, and the specific information they offered. Ian’s aura photographs were unusual and impressive to say the least – not to mention undeniably different form person to person upon comparison of the two photographs which we had taken. Ian was especially adept at spotting physical manifestations on the photographs

The theory: A photograph is taken of the body’s energy field or aura, the colour and depth of which can offer an investigation of physical and psychological glitches in the energy field.

Alison said: Great for physical ailments, intriguing that there’s a scientific as well as spiritual dimension.

The most intriguing and lesser-known of our consultations, aura photography uses a camera to take a conventional film based photograph representing the body’s energy field using colour.

There are three real arms to Ian’s consultation; aura photography, auragraphs (pastel renderings using mediumship to produce a visual representation of a medium’s interpretation of the client’s state of physical and spiritual health) and the use of Ian’s mediumship during a consultation.

The initial photograph uses a £7,500 progen 6000 – a Polaroid camera which is encased in a bio-feedback device that, when the shutter button is pressed, acts as a filter to offer a colourful representation of the body’s electromagnetic energy field. It’s an intriguing feeling to sit in the chair in front of Ian’s studio’s black background to place your hands on the hand plates, but the photograph Ian produces was an impressive representation of the field. Even though Ian stresses that the camera is not accurate enough to pick up minute elements of the field, and does not picture the aura itself

Both Alison and myself had our pictures taken, demonstrating how different two people’s auric field can appear. Mine was considerably shallower which Ian correctly stated was perhaps because I was feeling run down and tired at the time. Both Alison and myself though felt particularly impressed by the fact that Ian was able to study the yellow patch which appeared to Alison’s left side and correctly state that the yellow tinge indicated a nervous system ailment – in Alison’s case a correct prediction of a trapped nerve.

Colours which appear in aura photos include a terracotta colour, usually seen in the case of bereavements, grey tinges indicating the need for a (perhaps stressed) client to talk about something, or problems of a more physical manifestation such as bone problems, seen as orange, or problems concerning the central nervous system which manifest in photographs as yellow.

Meanwhile the region of the photograph is also relevant, with the top areas of a photograph relating to conscious, cognitive or psychological issues, and subconscious issues manifested in the lower quadrants. Physical ailments, meanwhile are manifested where relevant in the photograph.

We were impressed with the diagnosis Ian was able to make of Alison’s shoulder using the photograph and his clairvoyance, and liked the fact that the photograph provide, at least to some extent, something by the way of evidence for a medium’s predictions.
